About Me

Jessica is an acrylic painter. She does not come from any professional art background, but she has picked up paint brushes since she was young. She loves painting. She sees painting is the best way in pursuit of inner joy and manifesting her true mind that she would have always wanted to clarify. She chooses acrylic as the main medium due to the quick drying feature that fits well with her impetuosity. She believes doing a spontaneity painting is supposedly a carefree and delightful process, it is free from the frame of absolute precision and accuracy which could be easily done by cameras. “There's no mistakes. Just happy accidents.” which has now become her motto.

Her recent artworks are rather abstract as a way to channel her thoughts and feelings. It is always intriguing to witness different emotions felt by the audiences through abstract paintings, whilst embarking on a journey of self-exploration and healing.

Jessica, 沒有上過任何專業畫畫課程也沒有緣分去讀Fine Arts。只是單純地覺得畫畫是一件開心快樂的事，便用畫畫去創作去表達自己的内心世界。

喜歡用Acrylic 去創作，因爲顔料快乾與自己急性子的個性吻合。也因爲可以隨時配合自己心情去修改畫内内容。相信畫畫本是一件輕鬆快樂的事，別執著對與錯，別執著像不像。總覺得：要一模一樣的，拍照就好了，何必畫畫又要給自己壓力。 朋友也常説，“There’s no mistakes. Just Happy Accidents.” 這也成爲我的信念。

後期創作較抽象化，覺得這樣更能表達自己的想法與感覺。也發現，看畫的人看到與自己不一樣的情緒而感到非常有趣。畫畫也是一個在認識自己與療愈自己的過程。願看畫的你能透過我的畫，看到我的世界。
